Searching the Grants Directory

Our top tips to get the most out of your membership

To find relevant grants, you need to use the search filters that deliver the right grants to you. Once you have worked out these filters, Save This Search.

Only relevant grants that match your filters will be delivered to your email inbox. You will be automatically notified of relevant grants that open in the future.

To get started, I would run a search using basic filters: - Go to this search page: The Grants Hub

- Select National from the Location field down the left hand side of the page

Now the next thing I would suggest is to select the relevant options in the "Who Can Apply" section. I believe Non-Profit Organisation fits you best?

To narrow down your search further, you could select relevant topics, and you could select a few here: perhaps, "Business & Economic Development" and "Health and wellbeing". I also suggest "Community" as many grants are quite general in their description but your project could be eligible.

These filters above are the basic filters you will need in place for your searches. This will give you a very long list to go through. This is what it would look like: The Grants Hub.  As mentioned above, please click "Save this Search" (green button) so that you will be notified of new grants that match these filters.

I was also thinking you might like to add the State you are headquartered in, or the State you might like to focus on first - perhaps Victoria?  You search filters would look like this in this case: The Grants Hub.  Again, please click "Save this Search" (you can save many searches).  You could change the State in the search filters to check out grants specific to that state.

You might also like to add some keywords in the Search Bar at the top of the page. It is really important to keep your search broad and general, rather than specific. For example, you could enter "health" or "capacity building" in the search bar. .

For each keyword/topics search, hit the "Save this Search" button so that you are automatically notified of relevant new grants/rounds.

One thing that you need to remember is that grants are added every day to our Directory, so saving your searches will help notify you when relevant grants are uploaded to the Directory. What you see in the Directory today is only a snapshot of opportunities available right now - but more will open up tomorrow, next week, next month.... and you don't want to miss out! Finally, one way to check out potential upcoming opportunities is to select Closed as well as Open grants under "Grant Status" from the left hand side menu on the search page (closed grants may open again in the future). You might see something that is relevant that may be available again soon.

I hope that helps and please feel free to contact us again if you have any further queries. Good luck with your search!
